Exporting QA Data from QA Pilot™

QA data from reports can be exported into a JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) file. The exported JSON files will be compressed into a .ZIP file. The export includes the QA data, meta-items, baselines and tolerances, and links to any images displayed in the report. Each schedule will be exported in a separate file that includes all reports that match the selected date range. 

To export data, navigate to Manage - Export:

This will open a dialogue where either everything may be exported at once or individual sites, machines, or schedules may be selected:

To export data take the following steps:

1. Select the date range. The default is for all dates to be selected.
2. Select the sites to be included. Multiple sites may be selected at once. Selecting a site will filter the Machines and Schedule fields to include machines and schedules only from the selected sites. The default is to export all sites.
3. Select the machines to be included. Multiple machines may be selected at once. Selecting a machine will filter the Schedules dropdown to only included schedules from the selected machine or machines. The default is to export all machines (this may be prefiltered by site).
4. Select the schedules to be included. Multiple schedules may be selected at once. The default is to export all schedules (this may be prefiltered by machine).
5. Optionally the Send email when finished checkbox may be ticked. Ticking the box will send an email notification to the user running the export when the data is ready for download. Depending on how large the dataset is the export may take a long time. The Export Data page may be left and revisited to download the export files.
6. Click the Export button. The export job will be listed below. When ready there will be a Download link in the last column. Click the Download link to download the export files. 

Previously run exports are kept and may be downloaded at any time.

The typical sort and navigation capabilities are available:

• Use the Show entries dropdown to select how many results are shown on a page.
• The Search box may be used to search for exports by text.
• The arrows on the right of each column may be used to sort by ascending or descending order.
• If there are multiple pages the First, Previous, Next, and Last links may be used to navigate.
